Hey everyone, my alternate-history Soviet Union lunar colony game is finally available on Steam!

https://store.steampowered.com/app/5027410/Lunokhod/

Thanks to everyone here who playtested it and gave feedback.

All proceeds will go towards the Prairieland Defendants funds until they close donations. At which point I will find a new place to donate the money.

The game is also free with optional donation on itch.io. If you do want to buy a copy, it's honestly better to buy on itch so I get 100% of the proceeds (Steam normally takes a 30% cut).

If you don't want to pay for it but want it in your Steam library, just DM me and I will give you a free Steam key.

Wishlisting the game helps a ton with the Steam algorithm so even if you don't want to play it, adding it to your wishlist helps the game get more visibility in the Steam store.

This was my first game and it honestly kind of sucks. I am in the early stages of a new project and post updates regularly here:

Ooh, a loose executable to chmod 755.

I wish I could shift-click queue separate actions, specifically shift-click the automine button so I can tell a rover to build something then go back to automining once it's done.

Edit: some tips I've discovered from my first playthrough:

The Lenin buff is indicated by a blue underglow, and doesn't fall off immediately on leaving the statue range. Having a statue near a refinery will keep all the rovers delivering to that refinery Lenin'd up as long as they're not making too long a trip back and forth

After building the central refinery, the regular refineries seem to function as drop off points for it.

Yep that's intentional, they keep the buff for 30s after leaving Lenin range

Yes refineries will send all their regolith to the central refinery which has a 2x conversion rate. Unfortunately the central refinery is probably the most opaque mechanic in the game, I think most players never had an issue with that though since you can intuit "big refinery go brrr". I was going to add some pipes from the refineries to the central refinery to indicate this, but I had to say "no" to a lot of things and just focus on shipping.
