Stories like this are exactly what the fascists want. They want Democrats so busy fighting each other that they can't provide a unified resistance. So far it's working.
That's one way to see it. The way I see it leftists are fighting fascists, and the latter happens to include a lot of Democrats.
Incredulity is not a rebuttal, and mental illness isn't a cool insult. Get blocked.
Weakness on display, and you’re bad at trolling. The worst.
Also does Ruzzia pay in rubles or USD?
Anyone working to pass the SAVE America act is working to keep the GOP in power.
Like it or not, 6 Democrats just openly said "We'd rather risk more time with Nazi pedophiles than risk the DSA holding any real power.
If you purposely work to empower a fascist, that makes you a fascist.
Those 6 democrats are fascists.
How do you get a new person in their position?
I’ll give you a hint - it’s voting for people who represent us
VOTE HARD
Already do. Just because I vote doesn't make those particular democrats not fascists.
Also none of them are even in the same state as me, so my voting powers don't effect them.
Got any more hot tips, lil buddy?
6 isn't "a lot of Democrats".
You're right, I'm sorry.
I forgot this was the only time democrats have ever worked with the GOP to spite the working class ever.
Completely fucking unprecedented.
We can't afford purity tests in an existential fight. It doesn't matter where they stand on economic policies, healthcare, the environment, Israel, or whatever. All that matters is if they will directly fight against the current fascists in power.
Cool they can do the things that make republicans fascists so long as they're pledging fealty to the democratic party. Got it.
You understand healthcare, the environment, civil rights, and to an extant, the economy, ARE existential issues for most people right?
The reason to vote democrat isn't because they're not the GOP in name, its because they typically have better policy than republicans on such issues. To say they don't matter is disingenuous.
None of those things are what define fascism. Fascism at its core is defined by the destruction of democratic representation and the rule of law. Without those any other issue you personally care about cannot be addressed.
So yes, the SAVE act is fascism because it erodes voting rights. Mark Wayne Mullen threatening to send federal agents to polling places is fascism for the same reason. ICE agents assaulting and killing people with no legal recourse against them is fascism because it erodes the rule of law as does Trump signing blatantly unconstitutional executive orders or defying judicial orders are fascism.
The environment and healthcare are important. I got my degree in environmental science for fucks sake. I understand that they are existential threats. But the threat of fascism will kill us first if we don't smash it with maximum force now.
Because they're cowardly traitors and working together doesn't mean we ignore that fact.
So you're saying centrist dems dont want to fight progressives.. they have merely been temporarily fooled by republicans. I dont think you're right on that.
I'm saying is that we all need to realize that fascism is the greatest threat. The rest must come secondary.
See? At lease some people get it
