America should get their phone companies to block spam calls instead. Would be much more effective. Like, even if the calls come from China, the scammers will just move somewhere else if they can't operate from China anymore.

I don't even answer the phone at all anymore unless you are in my contacts. That is how bad it is.

Knowing the US there’s probably a law that prevents that because it might catch spam calls from domestic companies.
