I think this case was just like: "cyberleek promised more leaks if we bought the coin, i (for some reason) want to pay $10 for more leaks, I don't expect to ever resell this 'coin' for a profit".

Coupled with a few "well if I buy it for $100 today I can probably sell it for $200 tomorrow even though it'll be $0.0001 at some point between now and mid November" guys.
