Responses that completely destroy the original argument in a way that leaves little to no room for reply - a targeted, well-placed response to another person, organization, or group of people.
The following things are not grounds for murder:
- Personal appearance ("You're fat", "You're ugly")
- Posts with little-to-no context
- Posts based on a grammar/spelling error
- Dick jokes, "Yo mama", "No, you" type responses and other low effort insults
- "Your values are bad" without any logcal or factual ways of showing that they are wrong ("I believe in capitalism" - "Well, then you must be evil" or "Fuck you you ignorant asshole")
Rules:
- Be civil and remember the human. No name calling or insults. Swearing in general is fine, but not to insult someone else.
- Discussion is encouraged but arguments are not. Don’t be aggressive and don’t argue for arguments sake.
- No bigotry of any kind.
- Censor the person info of anyone not in the public eye.
- If you break the rules you’ll get one warning before you’re banned.
- Enjoy the community in the light hearted way it’s intended.

I can't imagine forgetting that phrase from school over 2 decades ago. I get people not knowing lots of the details, but missing that, work will set you free.. etc etc. That's really bad.
Keep in mind English might not be someone's first language. They might have learned the phrase in school in their language, or even the German original, but not whatever is the accepted English translation.
With the current media landscape I believe it's malicious intent rather than stupidity.
It's simliar to how an old artist's music being played on a pop station is a leading indicator that artist is going to put out a new album. The intended end users of the Nazi Germany phrases may not know/care what they're saying, but the people seeding it into the media are literally just following the playbook for what worked last time.
My bingo card has a spot on it for seeing unironic back-to-back commericials for gold sellers (who didn't get the memo) and reminders that the US has nationalized all its gold (again).
Or she didn't learn that specific phrase. I don't recall ever hearing it in school.
