I opened the door to a shed and found this guy sitting in the middle of the floor. It's been a long time since I've seen one this big in the wild. My coworker said it was nice enough to be out in the open and not hiding somewhere I had to put my hands.

I used to shine them on the palm trees in my yard in Phoenix and the whole thing would glow with scorpions. It was so cool to see.

Oh ya there's more around for sure, this is in a pretty remote area. Rattlesnakes get in there occasionally and I'm really lucky I haven't encountered that. At least in that building.
