Lemmy feature request:
Turn Reply Notifications Off (like Reddit has)
That’d be an app feature would it not?
How so? Reddit has it on their website proper.
Because Reddit is centralized. They control everything from the site to the app.
Lemmy is very much different, where every instance handles the data individually. And that data isn’t natively pushed to your phone, that would be something handled by an intermediary that your app is running.
I use Lemmy on my desktop browser via lemmy.world.
Did you ever find out what the acronym means?
Probably not. Most people here seem more invested in telling me fake answers.
In this context it's probably "transformation", as in art featuring a character turning into, eg, a doggirl
Inkstain is correct. Trans Furmation. Source am very friendly w several artists in the furry community.
I'm not going to try and claim I'm all that familiar since I'm not really in the community (got maybe a tiny handful of friends who are) but I've not actually seen the furmation part but once or twice, I think for most people it's just "transformation", no?
(tho I will echo HCSO's frustration that the "TF" acronym always being used in place of the word is infuriating especially as a fan of actual Transformers)
