It's funny how Obama led the explosion in methane and fracking, but didn't like to take credit, and now Trump is reluctantly presiding over a transition to renewables that he cant really brag about.

In my wildest fever dreams, I never imagined any president would permanently impair the transit of oil through the Strait of Hormuz. Yet here we are.

Trump may still attack Kharg Island, have Iran retaliate, and cap Middle Eastern oil and natural gas production for years.

I wouldn't be surprised to learn that there are bribes from the US oil industry involved in that decision, because that's one of the main groups profiting off the current US fuckup in the middle-east.

Many of them are heavily invested in Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. While they benefit elsewhere, I'm not sure it offsets their now stranded assets.

It's a shame. All we can do RN is return the rights to teach the civil war wrong to the states + hurt kids in need.
