Haricot verts (green bean?), broccoli, soy beans, green peas, avocado chunks, corn and zucchini cubes.

Edit: just don’t thaw your meat WITH your veggies. That might get you salmonella or yersinia.

Second edit: Yersiniosis sucks, unfortunately (likely) got it from organic pork and veg from a farm that apparently didn’t believe in health protocols, was seriously ill for three weeks despite not undercooking anything. Now I even rinse my lettuce for at least two minutes.

If you happen to live in the USA, you should probably wash your lettuce either way

I understand the joke (regarding explosive d-word), but I have to stress this: regardless of where you live, if you have sufficient clean water available, always rinse your veg.

Just say diarrhea. Why are we censoring every word now?

[–] ltxrtquq@lemmy.ml 3 points 4 weeks ago (1 children)

Maybe they didn't want to embarass themself by spelling it wrong? That's the only explanation I can think of.

You’re absolutely right. 😂

It’s not that i wanted to censor the word, I just couldn’t figure out how it was spelled in time for pushing my comment before I had to leave public transport. In Swedish it’s ”diarré”, but forgot the English spelling snd then I rarely use this app more than once or twice a day laughs

Don't worry, I wash my veg and fruit 😀 I actually totally agree with you :)
