3. No bots, spam or self-promotion.
Only approved bots, which follow the guidelines for bots set by the instance, are allowed.
4. Post titles should be the same as the article used as source. Clickbait titles may be removed.

7. No duplicate posts.
If an article has already been posted, it will be removed. Different articles reporting on the same subject are permitted. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.

The democratic party ran a pro-genocide candidate. Yes - they forced me not to vote for them. I exercised the only leverage I had - I showed them that while they support genocide I will not vote for them. Yes - the current president has the same view on the genocide that Harris does. They difference is that because Harris lost, we have a chance at a non-genocidal candidate in 2028. We would not have that if she had won. If Harris had won we would have locked in the genocide for decades. Do I think that it is a shame that the Democrats would rather a Trump win than an end to slaughtering children in the Middle East? Yes of course. Let's hope they change their mind in 2028.
Just so I'm clear... You're perfectly okay with your country as a whole becoming a right dictatorship; with federal agents killing civilians in the street, Flock cameras watching your children at the pool, your food being unsafe to eat, your military starving in the middle of the ocean, your cost of living skyrocketing, AI taking over your jobs, data centres taking all your local drinking water, human rights domestically and Internationally being cut because your country won't fund human rights initiatives... As long as you could show the Democrats they can't run pro-genocide candidates so we could end the current genocide that was/is happening 4 years later from now.
Meanwhile, while I cannot confirm Harris would not have started 4 separate International wars, a genocide in Iran bombing schools, hospitals, and apartment buildings, razing the capital of Venezuela and essentially Annexed them, and invaded an International trading port for the entire purpose of manipulating the global oil economy for financial gain... But at least we avoided the chance that Harris might have done all those things!
Of course I am not ok with that. I am horrified that the Democrats prefer that to ending the genocide. But I'm not interested in anything anyone who is pro-genocide has to say. We can talk about all of those things when a candidate denounces genocide. Not before.
You prefer it too, since you voted for it.
There was no anti-genocide candidate - there was literally no option.
