What are the more humane ways to deal with these animals? They’re not native, they’ve been causing ecological problems, and they’ve been endangering other plants and animals.
Release wolves.
Directly shoot them from the heli and let the bodies return to nature. Minimizes the stress compared to day long transports in captivity.
Treat them like we treat we treat wild hogs. Wild horses are feral pets to the US, rather than pests.
