From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

Here’s the basic tests to run, one of them will show you what the problem is
This article will give you the details on how to use most of them: https://www.fosslinux.com/42630/best-cpu-stress-test-performance-benchmark-linux-tools.html
Be to do them in that order, you don’t want memory issues to show up looking like cpu issues, or cpu issues to look like gpu issues.
the article is a 404 page
seems to work without the "L" at the end - https://www.fosslinux.com/42630/best-cpu-stress-test-performance-benchmark-linux-tools.htm
this is great thanks!!
