When I used Facebook I would use this GreasyFork script with the ViolentMonkey extension. That's about as close as I ever got to a "clean" Facebook experience. I think it works because it doesn't rely on DNS or domains, but rather the "sponsored" tag in elements, which they can't legally remove. But I'm not a programmer so feel free to review the code and correct me.
