He pops up in briefly in Marcion's first New Testament in around 140CE and then becomes some kinda patriarch figure in the later 27 book Catholic New Testament and via St Irenaeus.

Scripture is awesome but for the love of God don't be reading the Catholic 27 book NT's like they history textbooks.

We have no idea who St Paul was or what he wrote either, it's fine.
