Steam Hardware
A place to discuss and support all Steam Hardware, including Steam Deck, Steam Machine, Steam Frame, and SteamOS in general.
As Lemmy doesn't have flairs yet, you can use these prefixes to indicate what type of post you have made, eg:
[Flair] My post title
The following is a list of suggested flairs:

If your post is only relevant to one hardware device (Deck/Machine/Frame/etc) please specify which one as part of the title or by using a device flair.
These are not enforced, but they are encouraged.
Rules:
- Follow the rules of Sopuli
- Posts must be related to Steam Hardware or Steam OS in an obvious way.
- No piracy, there are other communities for that.
- Discussion of emulators are allowed, but no discussion on how to illegally acquire ROMs.
- This is a place of civil discussion, no trolling.
- Have fun.

I would install them through heroic rather than lutris or something else.
Alternatively you can add them as a non-steam game and run them through steam, although if the game has an installer you might need to run the installer and then change the target in steam properties to the game executable. Overall this method is a lot messier than heroic.
This is what I was trying to do.
I have them all set up and installed on a Games folder in either my SD card or SSD (depending on the game).
I add to Steam for the .exe and run via Proton Experimental or Hotfix or 11.
Via Desktop, the game launches, shaders cache, etc. but the screen is frozen on a gray or black or white blank screen — if I tab out or use the system key, I can see the game running fine in the background.
You'll probably have better luck with heroic, but for steam try these
