It's exactly bourgeois, liberal democracy that legitimizes fascism in the first place. Its institutions rooted in private property relations and capitalist enterprise allow poverty to flourish thereby enabling fascists to pick up the pieces and divide us.

The rejection of fascism starts at recognizing capitalism and its internal contradictions as the driving force of fascism.
