Double jeopardy doesn't prevent him from being liable for civil damages. The family could sue and ruin his life still.
Don't forget how the OJ trial went.
I’d argue a lot of that life ruining stuff was his own doing and not him losing in civil court haha.
Did he ever actually pay?
He delayed using various tactics, but ultimately his estate did pay.
