I reach for the margarine shelf personally.

A.) I'm incredibly lazy and very much enjoy how margarine is nice and soft even when straight out of the fridge.

B.) I kinda prefer the taste tbh.

I don't like margarine because the 1 time i made soy buttercream icing the sweet taste of the soy has become very apparent

I don't like butter because i started getting that bourgue Irish butter and other butters just seem inferior

Fun fact about the butter they buy at my work: it's 50% margarine! We literally buy margarine for vegan shit and 50% butter for nonvegan shit
