Many thanks to @Vittelius@feddit.de for creating this!
You are right, I remembered it wrong, as there’s in fact no such rule for the instance itself. However, it is a rule in feddit‘s largest and most active comm !europe@feddit.org (11,4K/5,45K), namely Rule #4, which states:
Not even denying, but questioning.
I‘ll repeat my original argument about a German instance infested with Zionist supporting policies, edited to not spread „misinformation“ and after that I’ll expand on the blanked deletion rules of the other comms:
There is no such thing as a right to exist for nation states. Yet, feddit.org‘s largest community has a rule that sanctions even only questioning the non-existing right for that state — not denying, questioning. That‘s quite the Zionist take (and if anyone by now is still confused by this, Ill be happy to explain). So it’s very clearly a rule in defense of the political ideology that is currently genociding and lebensrauming. Which has been a thing since its inception, because it‘s what Zionism does.
Also, there is no German law that penalizes „questioning the statehood of Israel“.
But that’s not all.
It‘s also a rule on feddit‘s second largest, third monthly active comm !dach@feddit.org (5,46K/2,28K), as well as the very first rule on feddit‘s rather small, but fifth active comm !deutschland@feddit.org (2,67K/723), which states, translated:
Which is ridiculous, as politics are allowed and Germany is complicit, so it would be on topic and should be talked about vehemently. Even more clearly visible, as Germany just blocked sanctions against Israel from the EU.
The not mentioned second largest community is ich_iel, a freaking meme comm. All other comms on this instance have only marginal relevance.
From the Top 5 communities of this instance, 3 have Zionist supporting policies, 1 is a meme comm.
If we remove the meme comm, we’re left with europe, dach, germany and deutschland, and out of this group, which all have a national identity focus, which I find kind of weird, around 91,45 % have policies repressing anti-zionist voices with flimsy reasoning, or repress voices in support of Palestine altogether, by completely blocking out the broader topic, which by nature of the conflict, supports the oppressor and makes the victim of the genocide invisible.
You could have corrected me, but you chose to split hairs on a technicality. Most of the most active comms in this instance are actively repressing support for the oppressed or even accept it as a topic.
These communities chose the wrong side of history. Most of the main comms of the instance. The perception shown in the above post (now deleted) certainly is not unfounded, you might just be blind towards it.
