“Thank you for grinding me down to a pulp to the point where I questioned my reason for existing and groveled for the crumbs of my labor in the hope that I would be able to pay rent. In addition I have learned much from you challenging me on a daily basis - whether on the clock or off - to the point where I physically abused my own body with booze and whatever drugs I could lay my hands on without interacting with minorities or traveling outside my safe zone. Your encouragement has left me with lifelong disorders that will either never be resolved or will not be covered by my COBRA plan which just so happens to cost 150% of my previous employer-sponsored plan which is definitely affordable now that I am either unemployed because I couldn’t take it anymore or taking a job with less pay and no benefits just so I can look at myself in the mirror without vomiting my food pantry-provided breakfast. I most certainly want to leave on good terms so that any of the other employers in my field of expertise will be chomping at the bit to exploit me the same way you did for even less, or on the off chance that, if I don’t find anything else in this job market that can match the same disregard for my humanity and basic needs, I can come crawling back into your open arms.
