Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

F7 key on 67% keyboard (self.linux)

SOLVED: i used the simulate input action on opendeck and set it to f7. yes i have a streamdeck

so i use a program where you need to press f7 and you cant change it, but i only have a 67% keyboard and the layout i have selected in my keyboard setting doesnt seem to have fn on any of my keys so pls help

EDIT: just so you guys know i have a streamdeck that i can use but idrk how to configure a button to be f7

https://usevia.app/ would be the easiest approach AFAIK.

At the bottom should be a layers button, you'll want a momentary to set a layer as active, then pick the key that you want to assign f7 to when the new layer is active.
