It’s not a left or right battle like the Epstein class wants you to believe. It’s the Billionaires and Trillionaires vs everyone else.

The United States needs tons of millionaires with less billionaires and trillionaires. Also, the United States needs healthcare as a human right.

Confiscate their ENTIRE estates, and use it to start the "America First Fund" (irony intended), which will be the seed money for all the Social programs we'll start when we take back power - health care, college/trade school, UBI, pre-k, public schools, etc.

Also use the America First Fund to collect MAGA fines ($1 billion minimum fine per count, no matter how small the crime), including the corporate tariff refunds. Those tariffs have badly hurt the American citizens, and the refunds should directly benefit THEM.

Make the American citizens aware of the America First Fund, and make them understand that this is THEIR money. The amount in the American First Fund should be announced on the news every night, just like the stock market scores. The rich can see the Dow rise, and the rest of America can see the America First Fund rise, and demand more. Whenever a major corporate fine is announced, the announcement should include it was put into the America First Fund.

We should be demanding that the government grow the America First Fund, the way Sociopathic Oligarchs scream for the stock market to climb, which means more criminal and civil prosecutions against corporations. By the time they learn the hard way to behave themselves, the America First Fund will be well-funded, and producing its own money.

Leave those Oligarch families destitute, and ineligible to receive the benefits that their fortunes paid for. Let them experience for themselves what it feels like for good citizens to have what they need, while the broke oligarch families go without, and get despised for it.

Were would the money come from to fund the programs or liquidate assets?

[–] DillDough@lemmy.zip 4 points 12 hours ago (1 children)

Use the existing civil asset forfeiture system, this literally is a thing used against regular people it just doesn't get used against ultra rich and powerful, that needs to change.

I get that part, not where does the money come from?

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 1 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

Where does the money from ANY corporate or civil fine come from? That's not our problem, that's the MAGA criminals' problem. They'll find the money to pay up or they'll go to jail.

If you mean where does the money come from to start the administration of the fund, that shouldn't cost that much, and there are already fines that have been collected that should be allocated to this initiative to cover it.

For instance, the money from the Tariffs that SCOTUS determined was illegally collected, should all go into America First Fund. If it's already been given to the corporations, take it back, and put it in the Fund. Those corporations didn't pay that money, the citizens did, and the corporation shouldn't get that windfall, the citizens should. Amazon collected $640 million in tariff re-payments, which they kept, even though their customers paid all that money. Why should Bezos get a huge windfall from our illegally stolen money? Take it away from him and put it in the America First Fund, where it belongs.

This won't cost the taxpayers a penny, and it will bring life-changing benefits to every American Citizen.

I'm asking where the money comes from when we take all the billionaires assets.

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 1 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

From the billionaire's assets.

I don't understand the question. Are you wondering how we convert things like yachts and planes into cash? Sell them to rich people who aren't shitheads, if you can find any, although I suspect seeing the worst rich people get executed, imprisoned, and their entire fortunes confiscated, will convince the rest to behave themselves, and pay their taxes without complaining.

We could also operate their comfiscated businesses for the benefit of the American citizens, with the profits going into the America First Fund, instead of some Sociopathic Oligarch's Child Rape Fund.

That is what I'm asking, where the money comes from, but it sounds like you wouldn't have any buyers for these assets. Already rich people pay they're taxes so that wouldn't change anything.

So you have a plan on how to get the cash to fund these programs your want with these assets?
