I don't care about other countries. My country has its own problems to fix already
my country could very well be next. if we let them do it to palestine they might eventually do it to me.
You say that like the US has a foreign policy of philanthropy rather than death and destruction, but sure, your tax dollars could be better spent if that's your point.
