“Why’s it called 9/11 if it happened in September though?”
It's named after their emergency number. Lots of people dialed 911 that day.
No, there used to be 9/11 buildings there. Don't know about the two missing ones. Two buildings were attackes. Now there's 7/11
Noo, you see, there where 11 buildings and after the 2 towers got taken down, there where now 9/11 buildings!
I’ve just barely survived a date format discussion and this is the first comment I read after. God dammit
That's quite the euphemism for what many would call a hand-to-hand edged metal disagreement (in my experience at least. Also metric vs US customary metric)
Because it happened on 2001-09-11 in the One True Date Format.
The country sobered up and decided to write dates correctly, only to relapse the very next day.
