1000% California. So Cal is mostly LA and NorCal is a bunch of granola outdoor survival types.
I mean, we have plenty of people living off the land in Canada too, and it's hard land.
If they're allowed bringing their guns, the Americans are going to win every time, of course.

I live in a rural area, I'm aware. Although I thought Trudeau brought back the long gun registry.
There's some pretty severe restrictions, like max 5 rounds in an SKS (although plenty of people illegally use the full 10). Cali does too, but it's not clear if it's on the same level. IIRC you can still have handguns pretty much anywhere in the US, while they're almost banned here.
You're in luck! We don't keep any of our guns in California.
Yeah, those laws actually look fairly similar to Canada in extent. Some things are more lax, but some are actually stricter, like I'm pretty sure you can transport a long gun more easily in Canada.
Considering California has Oakland and San Bernadino... I think California takes it
