To be fair it doesn’t look like it was a comic so my brain didn’t go there either.
Ah I didn’t realize the two on the top were meant to be read together thought it was a side by side
Thought this was supposed to be the other way around since the Japanese have Hachishaku-sama.
I was about to comment how the bottom pictures are supposed to be the other way around but when I thought about it, it's correct in the manga spirit.
I'm so stupid. I saw this yesterday and couldn't wrap my head around it and moved on. Your comment proves my mind has a blind spot.
