I know a guy who got his NSFW art account exposed and tied to his IRL name by Kiwifarms, who immediately came to employers in his field with the information to try to get him blacklisted. Luckily, as far as I know, this didn't succeed.
I wouldn't recommend anyone turn to AI for this stuff, but I can also understand how it could end up seeming the least bad poison.
