Such a good discussion!
Yes, it's great. One of things I think that is being skipped over in the ai discussion is that the errors and volume of slop make productivity harder for the people working with people using it.
I have a small business. I get a job application or a report or a draft of an important email and it takes more time to process and check it as its undoubtedly ai genersted.
So for those using ai, it's junk, but also those working with those using ai (which may be elsewhere and not in house), it's adding to workload. I think I saw someone discussing how ai is outsourcing cognitivr load to the ai, but also to those that use the output of ai, rather than historically, those who produced the content.
Really interesting, and depressing. They touched on it with this discussion where they talked about how capital wants to produce volume whereby labour wants to produce quality.
