What do you mean my favorite fictional characters aren't real?
I pray samwise is secretly real and wants to be my best friend but my prayers are yet unanswered.
The showrunners from Stranger Things said that when they were working with Sean Astin, he was basically IRL Samwise to the point that they had to cut a character arc where the dude he was playing would have ended up being an antagonist. They just couldn't do it after shooting his initial scenes.
So take from that what you will. And please don't stalk Sean Astin.
I will take it as a pleasent fact about an actor playing a great character... Much better than the more common revelation that your fave character was played by some variety of piece of shit
