I'm so grateful that I forgot to take mine like 3 days a week, because whenever the refill is due (weird timing on this post, I'm in line at the pharmacy now) they say they're on back order and mt doctor has to call in a different strength pill. My refill dates gets pushed further into the month each month until it loops back around, and my system can't ever figure out when to take the meds because some months I have extended release, some months instant release, some months a mix of the two. Sometimes it's 20mg tablets, sometimes 10s, sometimes 30s, sometimes 5s. It's very confusing for someone who can barely remember to take their meds when they're on meds.
But yeah, accidently skipping like 3 days a week means I have some to get through the week+ of "it's in back order, call your PCP and ask them to write it for 1 billion 5mg extended release tablets, please"
