I took it so seriously as a young teen but I am rewatching it as an adult with my partner and this is one of the funniest animes I have watched. Would recommend a rewatch to anyone who hasn't seen it since they were a kid. Completely different vibes, the dub is great as well.

Oh thank god. I watched it later in life and did not get what the hype was. Though this was when I still didn't understand that I was a leftist or even what that was. "This light guy really needs to chill out."
