Wait, I live in an Islamic republic now? Well, it feels more liberal than some of them.

If you talk to Women and Queer people in Japan many may not agree on that liberal feeling.

I love the country overall but when I have to deal with some misogynistic old business man it can be tough.

I said compare to other Islamic republics. I'm (unfortunately) well aware of Japan's issues in those areas
