The guy is a former Blackwater merc who worked at Abu Ghraib. Of course he knew what his tattoo meant, of course he came back from the Imperial Torture Megadungeon as a domestic abuser and of course you can't be left alone in the same room with him when you're a woman (or a burglar apparently). A week before the election, we'll see a picture where he drinks beer out of a human skull or whatever and people will still go all surprised pikachu because they do not get that all of that directly follows from his history in the "warcrime as a service" industry.
