Most antifa don't even hide their faces and to the extent they do it's because the government has labeled it a terrorist organization, so participating in resistance against fascism could get you decades in prison.
These people face no such risks. They're just pathetic cowards who want to intimidate others.
Antifascists, in the rare occasions where they need to mask up, hide their faces from the state (incl police) and from neo-Nazi terrorists who have murdered antifascists in the past.
Fascists hide their faces from their communities. They're such scumbags that everyday citizens know they deserve to be identified and ostracised for their personality and actions.
I feel that this might vary region by region. Atleast in my experience in my part of the world most try to obscure their faces.
Could be true. Depends on how you're using the term too. I think people who self-identify as antifa might be more prone to masking. Whereas if you include all people who engage in anti-fascist resistance, which includes a lot of normie liberals and various people, I don't think most of those people are masking.
Yeah I think this very much fits my experience, also with the way people call themselves
