I also like broccoli on pizza a lot.

Me too! When we both inevitably go to hell for our culinary sins, we should hang out!

[–] theunknownmuncher@lemmy.world 4 points 22 hours ago

Yeah that's cool with me

Do you roast it beforehand so it's not just soggy steamed bits?

[–] theunknownmuncher@lemmy.world 4 points 22 hours ago* (last edited 22 hours ago)

It just comes out roasted, browned, and slightly crispy with the pizza. Nothing special for it. I cut the pieces pretty small/thin though. If you want big pieces then I think pre-roasting would be smart

I've never thought to try that. I'm definitely gonna have to.

What other toppings do you do with broccoli?

Anything, everything. Basically supreme? Onion, mushroom, olive, pepperoni, ham, cherry tomato, whatever. Wouldn't really do pineapple with broccoli but pineapple has it's time and place.

Beef, onions, and brown sauce

Is brown sauce like bbq or "chinese" (USA chinese restaurant) brown sauce? Because one of these options sounds completely batshit insane to me but also I'm the one putting broccoli on my pizza so... maybe??? Would try

The latter. I built and worked at a fusion Chinese pizzeria.

😲

Yeah I'd try it
