Israel has installed 23 cranes mounted with remotely-operated machine guns in Gaza to shoot civilians, including at least two children, according to reports from human rights groups and Gaza-based journalists.

“Days ago, the Israeli army installed huge military cranes, each about 30 meters tall, on the eastern areas it controls. These cranes… fire randomly and almost continuously at tents, streets, and exposed neighbourhoods.”

He added: “There is no place to hide, and not a single moment of safety.”

Three people had been killed by the cranes in the space of two days, Nahed claimed, including a five-year-old girl playing near her home.

Still think the Nazis were worse, but it's certainly close and it's absolutely the most evil in modern times.

I no longer agree. The only difference is scale and what they can’t get away with at the moment.

There's a second difference; the quality of information about it.

The Nazis managed to keep the concentration camps secret for most of the war. Israelis can't claim they don't know what's being done.

That's why they murder reporters, and their families, then have "just us" ("justice", a sick, cruel joke) groups not to consider citizen journalists journalists, because they're not on some arbitrary list of media complicit with their state governments' goals.

The scale is kind of important though. That's not absolving them of anything, I'm just talking in terms of comparing attrocities.

And that's not taking into account social murder.
