If this is true that’s incredible

But also you should have an idea what you want before you go through the drive through. That’s common curtsy.

But also you should have an idea what you want before you go through the drive through.

They have a menu for a reason. You don't get to act entitled to other people's ability to look at a menu at the restaurant to decide what they want – nor do you forfeit yours – just because you decided not to leave your stupid car to get your food. "Oh, gee, I'm wasting gas waiting for them to order." Then go inside or order ahead.

Dude I eat fast food like twice a year. I have no idea what I want when I roll up. The menus change often as well.

That’s common curtsy.

I think you mean “courtesy”

Are you srsly flirting with me rn?? While I’m trying to read the new taco bell combos?! Omg 😳

That’s fine, but there are people don’t think about it until they get to the front, even inside.

And for the record I think drive through should be abolished. They’re a waste of space.

Often it’s actually quicker just to go inside.

When I was working fast food, during rush they prioritized the drive-thru orders over the indoor customers. Drive time was tracked and needed minimized, people waiting inside were presumably expected to be more patient.

It's been a few decades, but I still see cars slide through a lot faster than our orders when we go in.

Yeah, but only a couple cars can have orders placed at most, so your wait time is the sum of all cars in front of you.

That’s changed now a bit, there are multi lines and they ask you to pull over and wait. But still.

It varies by restaurant, but I've had my family waiting in fast food restaurants, order already placed, for 15-20 minutes while I'm seeing cars entering the parking lot and leaving within four minutes or so. And it's not like they forgot us (had that too), usually others were already there and also had to wait a while.

It's not everywhere, but Ive seen it multiple times with multiple chains. Online pickups don't seem to have it as bad, but drive times are absolutely prioritized over indoor wait times

Eating random extra garbage for what? She just goes around ordering again.

You could give the extra food to someone who needs it and wasn't being a hugely entitled bitch.

The reason would be that the rudely impatient person has to wait in line again. Unfortunately the punishment will be lost on them, and they'll take it out on the employees that don't get paid a living wage.
