yeah, the enshittification is very real I am just pushing back on the framing "I hate AI but I have to use it". I don't honestly know why, it just bothers me when we deny our own agency in these things. LLMs may somehow reach that level of saturation into society that it is completely unavoidable, or even just mostly unavoidable, but currently it really isn't, at all. It is choosing convenience, and that's not like, a sin or whatever, I just think we should be honest with ourselves about it, the contradiction bothers me.
