The status quo will not last for long. Would you rather have a controlled transitionary period, or have it ripped away from you?
Be real, no one is going to change their habits, we’re all heading to Desert.
I can't believe the anarcho-nihilists were right. Theres nothing left for us to do other than negation is there?
Pretty much, least we can do is burn it all down and hope something better can grow from the ashes.
Status quo in what regard?
Is this about AI/tech?
Industrial society in general. Theres just too much pollution and too little resources continue to uphold the status quo. We are gonna need to downgrade to lower level of technology one way or another.
'Lower level' is of course the only option. Cleaner greener more conscious shit is impossible. Physics says so.
Dying is impossible. Everyone around me says so.
This is a good place to start looking

If it's a climate concern it's mostly possible if most countries just switched to solar. Problem is many countries (like the US) have an unnecessary fetish for coal and other fossil fuels. That, and getting rid of AI data centers. I think that mostly does it.
But billionaires are also trying to use valid climate concerns for their own agendas, including things like banning the production of meat, swapping it for lab grown meat, controlling the population through sinister means, having a "daily carbon quota", so-called 15-minute cities which are all just ways of 1) getting rid of people and 2) controlling the remainder more.
