Not a bit. The stock market will subsedize the poor populations of earth into perpetuating their own self-funded surveilance network.

If anything gets better in the next five years, it would be a first for me at age 38, so it might just be my pocket pessimism, take it with an entire spoon of salt.

Ai isn't a service, it's a form of societal control. They don't have to justify its price any more than they justify silver or gold's, which are bullshit too. The entire market is perpetuated on bullshit. Ai is just the excuse to push the boulder along for more profit, with the side perk that it knows when you fall asleep at your desk.
