For all its failures it does seem to be pretty good at recognizing patterns. Why dont we just use it to predict crimes before they happen? the world could be a better place.🌻 think of the children.

Because it’s in the hands of people who lack nuance, and prefer to assume everybody who isn’t in their little brotherhood are ruthless career criminals. Maybe if police weren’t overwhelmingly psychopathic ratfuck bastards, your plan might have some immediate applications.
