I mean, they definitely did some shit, but that's big time, even for the guy that shot the police officer.
Not really. If you even so much as tickle an officer wrong, they'd like to come after your family. Harsh sentencing on even pushing an officer when they're trying to interact with you is not uncommon. Let alone shooting at them. The violence is asymmetric by design.
