The way we win is unionizing, that's why they're so scared of that.
In germany union is mandatory. Still have these service.
Are you talking about the workers' council? That's not a union.

Yeah, they offer workers some union-like protections, but they wildly vary from employer to employer as to how much power they wield.
A proper union will include things like wage negotiations (group bargaining), worker complaints, worker safety, legal representation, and the ability to strike.
