The World Cup has come to so called North America and with it, corruption, gentrification, dispossession, and repression. From their conception to the present day, mega-sporting events have been used as powerful tools of social control. Activists and militants in the territories occupied by the state of Mexico have been organizing direct actions and have issued a call for a total boycott of the World Cup.

Do not forget all of these professional players are taking part in all FIFA events out of their own, free will.

Not to mention how happy they are to take money in exchange for advertising evil corporations, or even genocidal regimes.

They are not good people. Nobody should be looking up to them.
