A lolcow is a person who has attracted an internet following for being weird (typically due to a mental disability) in public. What then makes them a lolcow is that they haven't developed proper self awareness or a detachment between their public persona and private life, and some group of people has decided to gather around them more to "see what weird shit they'll do next" than to be genuine fans of whatever work they do or content they produce.

What isn't a Lolcow? Chuck Tingle. He's almost definitely a weirdo in real life too, but there's a clear separation between the real person and the character, and he's aware he's performing a bit. The same could be said for most "WoWeEeEewee!"-screaming vocal stim ticktockers who gather a following for acting like they are mentally challenged but who most are doing it purposefully because that's the sort of content that sells well, for some reason.

I'm gonna assume you're a German speaking person due to your username for the examples I'm giving. Drachenlord. Someone like that is a lolcow. Its when you make fun of a person for various reasons but usually making fun of the person regardless if their actions are meant to be funny. Its basically the online equivalent of laughing behind a classmates back who you pretend to be friends with. Another instance would be especially in the German space would be Timgioh.

In short Someone who is easy/safe for the majority of people to mock. Its a cash cow but you instead milk "lols" from it
