Why do you view Platner's success as the death of the US left? I'm missing exactly what it is that makes any of this compare realistically to the transgressions of many Republican and Democrat politicians who have had prolific careers. There will always be disagreements about when a politicians's behaviors are too much to bear, but I'm struggling to understand why this Primary win by GP signifies the end of the leftist movement in the US.

I’m not exactly sure why people say the left died with this, it’s been dead for decades. They must have a different definition than me.

Disregarding personal scandals, This winner here is far right by European standards, is literally a war criminal and is promoted by many people who are not conductive to national health.

Should he win the general, he will have zero positive impact.

Not sure he’s totally fat right by euro standards. He’s antizionist, which is a political opinion that gets you arrested in Germany

Because the left in the United States just threw away all their morales for a minor electoral victory, they embraced chauvinism and their own self interest over the interests of the international left as a whole. Showing that the US left has no regard for any one else in the world other than themselves. Why is this petite bourgeoise war criminal being embraced by the left? Just call yourselves corporatists already stop calling yourselves leftists if you don't want to embrace class struggle and internationalism.
