If this isn't satire then the most confusing one here is "social security has been privatized". Wat? I mean the rest is still batshit insane but in what universe does anyone other than the wealthy who are blatantly parasitic want social security privatized?
Bill Clinton was working on a plan to privatize social security when Newt Gingrich went after him over Monica. W wanted to do it as well but couldn't pull it off. Obama was a bit more tempered in that he tried to cut social security payments rather than privatize the whole thing, internet libs regularly defended it at the time. Your standard Democrat has no idea that privatisation is bad and happily goes along with what the news tells them is good especially if Republicans are against it. Outspoken Neoliberals will flat out champion it.
Why would republicans be against privatising social security?
Ideologically, they're not, but at the time, they saw it as electoral suicide. Reagan wanted to do it as well, (and ran on it iirc) but faced strong opposition to it from his own staff.
edit: Bonus Obama lore.
The liberals that actually understand liberalism fully support liberalisation of the economy to any and all extent. That's their whole ideology.
The grifters just go along and do whatever makes them money
