One day, one of the crew decides enough is enough, and starts a "new" religion...

I came across this post day ago and have since then read the book. I just wanted do say thank you for posting it, that was quite interesting to read.

It was written in 1969 and that shows in a few places (everybody smokes (including gods), the expected sexism for the time, some transphobia). Compared to the Dying Earth Saga, which is the only other SF from the period i have read, it was bareable thow.

But as a Buddhist and SF fan this was down my alley and i loved reading it.
