Why is "Gabe follower" a loser alias?

[–] ZeroHora@lemmy.ml 6 points 3 weeks ago

Why someone becomes a follower of GabeN?

[–] thingsiplay@lemmy.ml 1 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

I know and your reply still does not answer my question.

[–] Flyberius@hexbear.net 4 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago) (1 children)

The answer is plain to those with the eyes to see it... Or something.

[–] thingsiplay@lemmy.ml -2 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

I don't get it. What's wrong with it? If it is that clear, could you explain it to me?

[–] Flyberius@hexbear.net 2 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

There's nothing to explain. I guess the idea of someone who just follows Gabe Newell is funny and could be interpreted as lame. It's not that deep.

[–] thingsiplay@lemmy.ml -1 points 3 weeks ago (2 children)

But that still does not answer my question as to why that is "lame" (or in other words "loser"). So in this entire conversation and reply chain, you just wasted my time? If you don't gonna answer the question, why do you keep these "lame" replies then? I just asked a simple question, didn't I? And if it is relaly obvious and easy to see, how does it come you can't explain it? Seems like a paradox to me.

Christ... You should learn to disengage.

[–] thingsiplay@lemmy.ml 2 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

You should also learn to disengage if you have no answer and nothing to add to the discussion.

So you troll and waste time then... alright.

[–] Flyberius@hexbear.net 0 points 3 weeks ago

Yeah, scold me, I love it.

[–] gary_host_laptop@lemmy.ml 1 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

why would you be a follower of a billionaire?... that's the lame part.

[–] thingsiplay@lemmy.ml 1 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

For news? Is this a joke or what is this?

[–] AntiOutsideAktion@hexbear.net 4 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Yeah, you tell em! Sitting in the corner of your bedroom facing the corner while someone you met on craigslist has sex with your partner is something winners do too! You can't just call someone a loser for having their lunch money stolen and wearing a t-shirt with their bullies name on it!

Remember 2012?? Bacon narwhal! Le steam sale epic! I love Gabe! I love billionaires!

Not very quick on your feet are ya

[–] glimse@lemmy.world 3 points 3 weeks ago

Replace "Gabe" with "Taylor." Celebrity worship is always lame. I can't imagine being so obsessed with anyone that I'd make a social media account about them

[–] CluckN@lemmy.world -2 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Sounds like “Gay Boner” if you say it too fast.

[–] thingsiplay@lemmy.ml 2 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

How? Maybe my pronunciation is different from yours (Germany here). I tried it out and it doesn't sound like "Gay Boner" on my end.

[–] ShinkanTrain@lemmy.ml -2 points 3 weeks ago

Gay Baller maybe would work
