Doug Ford banned speed cameras. The City of Ottawa posted the raw speed data from before and after the ban. This chart shows the percentage of drivers going 15km/h or more over the posted limit. (feddit.uk)

Not the best source but this article does have some info on speed and fatal accidents.

The Ontario Provincial Police reported 568 fatal crashes in 2023, and speed was a factor in 131 (21.3%) of them. In other words, more than one in every five deadly car accidents involved drivers going too fast.
